Monopol — Somebody That I'll Never Be

A number of years ago we stumbled across a couple of tracks by the name of Getaway and Metropol, from a then unknown to us artist Christoph Andersson. It was an intriguing take on electro pop with a crisp sound that had us immediately hooked, and undoubtedly peaked our interest for what would come next from the burgeoning producer.

Today, Christoph Andersson has become something of a sought after talent, handling production duties for the likes of superstar G–Eazy and rising singer Devon Baldwin. Now he's just introduced a brand new solo project under the moniker Monopol as well, kicking off with it's debut single Somebody I'll Never Be last week. It's clear from the start we'll be treated to Andersson's affinity for engaging arrangements and infectious songwriting. Filled with layered instrumentals, catchy vocal hooks and an insatiable emotion, you'll find yourself quickly wrapped up in the unique magic of this one.
