Munich house duo Milk & Sugar are no strangers to crafting dancefloor perfection. After nearly twenty years on the scene, Mike “Milk” Kronenberger and Steven “Sugar” Harding have solidified their standing as industry titans, releasing tracks on major imprints like Ministry of Sound, Enormous Tunes, and most frequently their very own Milk & Sugar Recordings. With a reputation for bulletproof club cuts, we couldn’t be more thrilled to hear that their new single Ready Or Not is out just as summer reaches its peak. Conveniently, they’ve also blessed us with a cracking remix from Dutch house maestro Rene Amesz, sure to make your body temperature rise in just under five seconds.

Amesz layers rhythmic drum hits, echoing acid bass, and vocals from the iconic 1996 Fugees track of the same name to get a groove set, constructing an upbeat atmosphere that’s undoubtedly meant for a massive night. The track then unleashes wall-bending kicks that prove why the Rotterdam native has been tapped for releases on labels like Toolroom and Suara, culminating in a hazy blend of dance sorcery that will bring all club-goers out of the shadows and onto the floor. It’s no secret that Amesz knows the framework of a winning track, and for that we’re beyond grateful.
