It feels like we've been posting about NYC-based Lefti every other week lately, seeing as he's consistently delivered ace takes on the likes of Solidisco, Big Data and more — but we're not even mad about it. The newcomer has got a serious talent for turning out infectious grooves, and keep them coming we say. He's back once again today, with an absolute gem of a remix for fellow New Yorkers Chicos and their track Hooked. Slap on your shades because the polish on this one is gleaming, joining together slick guitar riffs, plucky bass, and untouchable vocals for a disco infused tune almost too hot to handle. It's blue skies and 75° in SF today, true summertime in the city weather, and there couldn't be a better soundtrack than this.
