CS VIDEO PREMIERE | Night Drive — Where I End And You Begin (Radiohead Cover)
Last month, following their 'After Dark' remixes and an excellent take on The Penelopes Time To Shine, Austin's Night Drive pleasantly surprised us with a stellar cover of Where I End And You Begin, one of the most seminal tracks off of Radiohead's 2003 album Hail To The Thief. Channeling their signature style, they transformed the moody song into a pulsating, synth-driven excursion ably doing the original full justice while still making it wholly their own.
Today, we're excited to be premiering the video to accompany the track, which couldn't be more perfectly suited in our opinion. Put together by the duos good friend Robert MacCready, of Production for Use, we're immersed in an enthralling kaleidoscope of layered clips which have been washed in a brilliant new wave-inspired palette, creating a visual climax to ideally compliment Night Drive's sound. With a reputation for impeccable design around their project already, we'd expect nothing less from the guys.
Jump into it below. And be sure to keep your ears perked, as Night Drive will be releasing their new original single, Young Rivals, this October, with an official remix coming from ASTR and music video by their ongoing visual collaborators, Lobo Sucio Creative.
