Although Griffin Camper was born and bred in the Bay Area, he recently took his talents east to see what life on the other coast was like. Swapping the Pacific for the Atlantic seems to have given his musical style some new life and ignited his career. Griffin is now 1/3 of SupplyNY, a Brooklyn based artist collective that throws parties, produces, cultivates local talent and even functions as small creative agency. This summer, along with gigs on both coasts, Griffin has been releasing a series of mix tapes inspired by his travels and bi-coastal living. Sprinkled throughout, he has been releasing fresh edits that pull from a variety of genres. His latest is an energetic and uplifting edit of the new Kolsch tune Cassiopeia which artfully blends in the lyrics from the 2009 Dirty South & Axwell jam, Open Your Heart. The 5 year old vocals are an excellent compliment to Kolsch's meandering string and piano riffs. Grab the free download here and be on the lookout for more out of Griffin and the SupplyNY crew.
