Arkon Fly — Back Seat (TIEKS Remix) + Bonus
Let's get this Friday moving right with some serious heat courtesy of London's Mark Tieku aka TIEKS, an artist who's name you'll be hearing a lot more of in the future. The rising producer, who was recently featured on Annie Mac's 'Free Music Monday' for his track The Number, has just delivered a choice remix of Back Seat, the new release from his fellow Londoner's, electro soul duo Arkon Fly. Reigning in the boisterous disco-funk original and taking a more classic deep house line, he's given us a steady, bouncing bass line which carries you gracefully through a soundscape of driving piano, crisp percussion and neatly chopped vocals, keeping the energy high and the bodies moving. Coming from an artist who broke out through a stellar official remix for Rudimental, and has written songs for the likes of Duke Dumont and Florence & The Machine, we'd expect nothing less.
Both the remix and original will be dropping August 10th via the seminal UK garage label Locked On, but for now enjoy the full stream below.

And just to get you a bit more familiar with TIEKS, have a listen to two more of his recent remixes for MNEK and Jess Glynne, plus the aforementioned original. Ace work all around.
