Chromeo — Jealous (Solidisco Remix)

We're pretty sure we've already said this before, maybe even shouted it from the rooftops once or twice, but we'll just put it out there again — this is Solidisco's year. We watched them carve out a particular niche for themselves throughout 2013 and this year has seen them exploding from the blocks with formidable originals Top Of The World and Feeling Good, in addition to remixes for the likes of The Knocks and Mystery Skulls. Now the NY duo is at it yet again with another official remix, this time for the much coined song of the summer, Chromeo's Jealous (I Ain't With It), continuing their inevitable ascent. True to their unparalleled sound, the guys cleverly mix big funk hooks with tasteful house chords, making this an equal parts party-ready and accessible jam. There's not a whole lot more we could ask for to kick off this long weekend and soak up some summertime weather.
