Truls — Out Of Yourself (Roosevelt Remix)

With some of the most perfectly polished, flawlessly executed productions we've heard over the past year, it's no wonder Cologne based producer Maruis Lauber, aka Roosevelt, is never far from our ears. Last night, we saw the release of his new remix for Out Of Yourself, the first track from Norwegian artist Truls' forthcoming debut album out later this year, and one that's particularly unique in it's own right. Roosevelt performs a spotless musical brain surgery here, reigning in the original's scarcely contained jubilance for a steady, radiant groove and floating it's infectious falsetto vocal work in a bed of dazzling sun-drenched notes and balearic bliss.
