Munk — Intimate Stranger (Plastic Plates Remix)

Munk | Plastic Plates Remix Since a strong delivery of his take on fellow American transplants Miami Horror and their track Real Slow, which graced our Top 30 Remixes of 2013 list, the Sydney-born curator of feel-good house Felix Bloxsom, aka Plastic Plates, has been kept busy by a steady string of shows — but we're glad to see him back from that brief release hiatus and alongside none other than Gomma Records co-founder Munk, with a full preview of his upcoming remix for Intimate Stranger. This newest official release adds yet another gem to the treasure trove of immaculately executed tunes already piled high by the producer, with a deliciously bouncy bassline and lively piano notes swiftly guiding us through a garden of pleasurable house rhythms. He's chopped up and pulled down the pitch of the original vocals, pairing them next to an upbeat groove for an effective arrangement sure to get everyone on the dancefloor moving in no time. The track's available to stream now, but keep your ears perked for the proper release of Munk's Intimate Stranger EP, out Feb. 17th via Under The Shade, also with versions from Mercury and Fabrizio Mammarella.
