The Aston Shuffle — Tear It Down (SAFIA Remix)
Australia's The Aston Shuffle have been on a meteoric rise as of late, with tracks Can't Stop Now and Comfortable being reworked by the likes of Plastic Plates, Lenno, Ta-Ku, John Dahlback and more, as well as putting out untouchable remixes for Owl Eyes and Empire of the Sun. The duo's been lighting up the scene both in their home country and proving to be one of Australia's hottest exports. Their latest single Tear It Down, set to release worldwide February 24th, has gained a lot of attention including a supporting national tour and it's own remix EP. One such remix comes from another group who's star is quickly rising, SAFIA, who've done a brilliant rendition of the track, stripping it back and letting each layer make a proper impression. Blanketing the production in a fluid, easy going vibe, they've pitched down the vocals and built in a resilient bassline next to soft buildups, creating a track versatile enough to enjoy poolside on a warm summer day, or keep feet moving well into the night.
