NSFW — Getting Away (Original + Remixes)

NSFW // Punks Jump Up Remix Earlier this week Dutch newcomer NSFW put out his first release of 2014 with Getting Away, a sleek nu disco tinged ballad. The new single comes alongside remixes from both Punks Jump Up and Xinobi, both of which are worthy efforts in their own right. The London duo has kept the originals smooth funk vibe and delicate vocal melodies intact, yet picks things up a bit, injecting the production with a dose of energy through clean percussion, frenzied electro beats, 80s style synths and a subtle touch of disco. Xinobi's take on the tune is more in line with the laid back approach of NSFW's effort, but he swaps the nu disco feel for a minimal approach, with a sparkling deep house backbone that pulls everything together neatly. The set is out now via Beatport on Nurvous Records.
