Fatboy Slim — Praise You (Sondrio Remix)

Hot on the heels of an outstanding rework for Baio, which garnered both Beats 1 and Triple J plays from Anna Lunoe and Aston Shuffle respectively, Australia's Sondrio goes back to his roots with his latest. He tells us he's always wanted a version of Fatboy Slim's classic Praise You to play out in his sets, and inspiration struck to make it a homage to the Jackin' House style he cut his teeth on. It's a choice example of the finesse Sondrio's production has, seeing him weave an array of sleek synths and percussion in with those notable lyrics, and giving it an energizing yet slightly sensual vibe. Though we sit here staring into the grey abyss that is San Francisco's current cityscape, we're at least able to feel a small reprieve and transport ourselves to the bright shores of Sydney while we give this one a spin.
