There's no better way to close out the first month of the new year, than with the premiere of a brand new remix from our good bud Boys Get Hurt. The Tokyo–based producer can always be counted on to bring us something fresh, and I can't get enough of what he's done with Enemy by Barcelona–based Bearoid. He's given the original a wash in those signature emotive melodies and set the polished vocals atop an energetic disco–house beat, bringing us a tasteful tune made just for dancing.
“It’s a real story [how this remix happened]. I found the original of the song in ‘The Jam Jar 183’ and really liked the style of the singing. So I put it on my winter mixtape, but it was hard to play in my DJ sets. I decided to direct message Bearoid on Instagram. and the result is this.
I already dropped it as a test at the end of last year during Kitsuné Club Night in Tokyo, and it was great – now I’m happy to have this one in my sets!”
