CS Premiere | Bluehost — We Need You (Pallace Remix)

The latest addition to Jerry Bouthier’s seminal Continental Records is Mexico City's own Bluehost, and the trio are making their entrance in style with a brand new single We Need You. An infectiously funky, guitar–laden dance cut, the track undoubtedly provides a nice welcome to the arrival of warmer weathers these coming months. Next week we'll see the release of the single's full EP package, with the lead track supported by a pair of choice remixes, one of which we're here to give you the first taste of today.

Making his mark with the co–produced smash Saturday Love alongside Zimmer last year, London–based, Parisian artist Pallace quickly jumped onto our list of ones to keep an eye on. The producer leaves an impression on us once again with his first release of the year this week, delivering a prime rework of Bluehost's We Need You. Adding a definite depth yet no less catchy of a touch, Pallace swaps the original's poppy synths and warm beats for a thumping house atmosphere. Kicking off with a crispy percussive groove, the remix reveals itself through standout chords and a superb bassline that collude with call–and–response vocals, for a sentiment that's sure to inspire some proper movement across dancefloors all summer long.
