Our good bud Allen French is out with his first release of 2016, a horn–driven, hypnotizing affair that's got us transfixed from the get-go. Snake Charmer, featuring vocals courtesy of Hollywood Junkii and live horns from the talented Joe Barry, continues to see French pave the way through a string of noteworthy releases with his inventive and engaging take on house music. Alluring horns flutter enticingly over a sea of funky chords and chunky bass, with commanding lyrics urging your body into movement around every corner. It's one of those left–field gems you might run into in the latter hours on the dancefloor, that grabs the attention of everyone around you and has them disappearing down the rabbit hole one-by-one — and that's just the type of weird we love.
