CS Premiere | French Horn Rebellion — Let Me In (Fake Money Remix)

A few months back Brooklyn's French Horn Rebellion graced us with their fun–loving Foolin' Around EP, a seven–track set boasting their infectious 'Next Jack Swing' style, and today brings even more joy with the release of the it's remix pack. The masters of feel–good have brought together a handful of rising producers for the occasion, including That’s Nice, Robert Delong, John “J–C” Carr, and Majestique — in addition to an impressive rework courtesy of Fake Money.

Jumping in to give his twist on the duo's track Let Me In, fellow Brooklyn producer Fake Money has reworked the understated original into a bold affair, full of big percussive kicks, resonant synth stabs and distorted bass. It's a slow–building ride through the deeper side of funk, with a certain retro cinematic edge that has us feeling like we're cruising the city streets, Ray-Ban equipped, threads dialed in.

Hear the remix below, and catch the entire set out today on iTunes. The guys are also on tour with Mystery Skulls starting in March, so don't miss out. Date + tickets here.
