OWSLA–signed singer Mark Johns kicks our Friday off with a sultry new jam by the name of BTFU (Mommy Issues). This is the first thing I listened to this morning, and it's exactly the attitude boost necessary to push through to the weekend. The LA–based songstress shows off her songwriting abilities in full here, lulling the listener into a false sense of security with her sugar sweet melodies, only to cut us down with the no-time-for-this-shit lyrical content. R&B tinged production courtesy of Brenton Duvall and Lindsey Lowend lends the ideal compliment to MJ's distinctive voice, all of which creates a disarming interplay to really make this track special.
