LEO ISLO — Higher Living

Ever since we premiered his debut original Feelings back in April, Portland–based LEO ISLO has been high on our list of up-and-comers to keep an eye on. His distinct combination of hypnotic melodies and ethereal vocals easily captivate a listener, and that continues to hold true on his latest single Higher Living. A blend of shimmering synths and subdued keys bring us in from the start, which are quickly joined by a lively bassline and those signature vocals to really get the groove in play. It's atmosphere is a striking balance between thought-provoking and dance-inducing, a talent we're beginning to recognise LEO ISLO for, and one that definitely sets him apart in the fray.
