Autograf — Metaphysical (ft. Janelle Kroll)

It's easy to assume that artists as successful as Chicago's Autograf have been early on, with chart-topping releases consistently coming one after another, might plateau at some point, but that's so far from the case here. The trio are out with their third original to date this week, the lead single off their forthcoming album, and it's beyond anything we've heard from them yet. Metaphysical not only delivers on their spectacularly dynamic style, but also carries with it a great message about challenging societal norms and looking simply at who we are as humans, rather than focusing stereotypes. This outlook is brilliantly conveyed through delicately layered instrumentals featuring vibrant keys, strings and their signature marimba, topped by fantastic vocals courtesy of the lovely Janelle Kroll.
