Sharer — Body Tonight (Lefti Remix)

Brooklyn–based producer Lefti has been coming at us with a constant barrage of heat this year, already having turned out official remixes for the likes of Solidisco, ASTR, Avan Lava, and Big Data. Now we see him return once again with yet another stunner, this time reworking Sharer's Body Tonight. Comprised of Young & Sick (Nick van Hofwegen) and JD Samson (of MEN and Le Tigre), Sharer's original is an intriguingly enjoyable track in it's own right, but Lefti's performed his part well in elevating it's dance-inducing appeal. Infusing his signature nu disco flare, Lefti creates an enticing atmosphere of instrumentals peppered with buoyant percussion, touches of synth, and spritely tambourine and flute notes that frame up the vocals to perfection.
