Once there, befriend your local bodega worker because $4 champagne showers are now your only form of bathing. Cue up that Enya album and let yourself feel something. Uncover your razor scooter and express yourself through tailwhips. Bring the squad to book club, they’ll thank you later. Notify your yogi of alarming chakras changes. Double up on emergency rations, earthquakes are coming. Prepare for vibes and get in the mix!
This month I’ve tapped into UK label Love & Other for a huge number of tracks and general inspiration. Scientifically speaking, they release more heat than 90% of the world’s deep sea vents, just check the internet. Massive shout out to all artists/people involved there.
Now that my reputation is skyrocketing, it’s important to remember my roots - growing up on the coast of Dominica taught me that there is more to life than Sean Paul records and coconut liqueur. I’m out here pondering life’s big questions, like why won’t girls talk to me and where are is the next rooftop party. Hopefully you can all see that kind of focus in this latest mix. Enjoy!
