Shirts & Skins — Then Came You

shirts-&-skins-then-you-came We were recently tipped off to a dynamic new duo on the block by the name of Shirts & Skins, otherwise known individually as NYC–based producers Pierce Fulton and Ansolo, and you're going to want to hear what they've got to offer. Often when big names such as these come together, you get an output similar to what they do already with double the branding power, nothing to get excited about. But this is a different story. The guys have taken a sharp left turn from their progressive and electro roots, delivering a disco house heater that can simply be described as fun, and sure maybe a little bit weird but in the best way possible. Then You Came is a boisterous crossroads of styles, boasting lively instrumentals and invigorating breaks and builds around a fittingly soulful vocal sample. It's akin to something our buds Solidisco might cook up, most definitely a good thing in our books, and we can't wait to see where this project goes from here. Tune in below and start your Friday night right.
