Duke Dumont — The Giver (Reprise) (Remixes)

June 21st will see the release of Duke Dumont's The Giver (Reprise), a refreshed version of the original by the same name, which brought the producer to a new level a few years back. With it comes a set of remixes, and what a set it is, with reworks coming from none other than the legend Mark Ronson, and Sydney's own Wave Racer.

Wave Racer finally makes a return after leaving us hanging for nearly a year, tapping into new territory with a synth heavy and slow burning take. A slight departure from his usual quirky, video game-inspired sound, the shift could be seen as a bit risky after such a lengthy departure, but of course Wave Racer nails it. Past that Mark Ronson works his much loved magic, though admittedly with less horns than we've grown accustomed to. Regardless, he delivers a smoother than smooth, 80s tinged rendition. Grab your crisp whites, coolest shades, and go seduce someone already.
