Sam Smith — Leave Your Lover (Motez Remix)

The latter half of 2014 was all too quiet on the release front from one of our favorite Aussie producers, Motez, so we're delighted to see a brand new remix from him this early on in the New Year. As he's rightly pointed out himself already, "it's easy working with a voice as good as Sam Smith", but we think it's safe to say Motez has made something undeniably special with this one. He does an amazing job of luring us in through an inspired layering of crisp keys and clever vocal tweaks, then really kicks things into gear around the 1:30 mark with a serious bassline sure to seal the deal if the track hadn't already gotten you there. With such a solid entrance to the year, we can't wait to see what Motez has got in store for us next.
