CS PREMIERE | AIMES — Burnin' ft. Javi (A Copycat Remix)

Just after his CS exclusive this past week, Brooklyn's AIMES is back with more goods to give, set to drop the remix EP for his single Burnin', featuring NYC's Javi, via Wonder Stories on December 8th. The set includes five new interpretations of the sizzling original released to much acclaim earlier this year, with reworks coming from the likes of Auxiliary tha Masterfader, Tronik Youth, Rocco Desentis, Perdido Key, and this smooth-sailing Copycat rendition.

Surely you're familiar with the four-on-the-floor heater that is the synth wrapped original by now, but here we see Swedish producer and disco aficionado give it a bit different flavor. While hints of the original edge still peek through, Copycat has slowed things down with a refreshing layer of Balearic grooves and lanky synths, which takes us out of the sweltering city streets and to a more exotic place, drifting on azure waters in a warm breeze. Regardless of locale, this one's sure to transport you to warmer weather, and comes as a perfect compliment to what the rest of the EP will offer. Keep your eyes out for the full release next week.
