Theophilus London feat. Jesse Boykins III — Tribe (Bixel Boys Remix)

As longtime fans, we've always admired the ever-innovative style of Theophilus London, not just with his music but all of his myriad artistic endeavors. So it seems only natural that LA's Bixel Boys, a duo who also reflects that same creative spirit and are responsible for some of the most forward-thinking productions in dance music right now, have taken on remix duties for Theo's recent single Tribe, featuring Jesse Boykins III. Always pushing the perception of what's expected and throwing their listeners for a loop, the guys have hit us with breathless builds and cracking house beats perfectly timed within the flow, turning out a rendition which does the original's dance-leaning philosophy justice while simultaneously flipping it on it's head.
