Colour Vision's first original single Sur Chic is seeing revitalization this week due to Guadalajara's Salon Acapulco, who've signed the track to their label Mix Le Fun and will be officially releasing it alongside a handful of remixes. The San Diego-grown, Palm Springs-based producer has been peaking into the spotlight this summer through a set of killer performances at Palm Springs poolside festival Splash House, and excellent remixes of such artists as La Roux, Goldroom, and Blackbird Blackbird. With a vibe effectively infusing the best elements of deep house and tropical disco, this newest release only looks to continue that.
Today we're excited to bring you Madrid-based producer DWYR's remix of Sur Chic, which quite honestly, we've had trouble taking off repeat for the past week. Coming as sleek rendition of the original, DWYR brings a fresh palette to his mix. His tasty cocktail of enticing piano keys, island-inspired percussion and breezy chimes will have daydreams of warm sand and bright rays sailing through your mind in no time. Dive in and refresh with this shimmering summertime jam, the water is fine.
Look out for the full set this Thursday, the 21st, including the original and two more remixes from Fishingvest and Rambo V.
