Olympic Ayres — Control (Pat Lok Remix)

By now you'll be familiar with Sydney's hottest exports Olympic Ayres, who's sunny indie-pop sound has captured the ears of many with songs like Magic, Take Flight, and most recently their stellar new single Control. The original plays out as a breezy daydream, slinging synth-infused chords into the air and letting us grab our fill of feel-good vibes. But today Vancouver's Pat Lok gives his take on the track and lines up another gem for his spotless collection. He's effectively added the only layers missing to make it our summertime anthem, by bottling up that Aussie sunshine and kicking it out onto the dancefloor wrapped in a blanket of buoyant house grooves and whatever that guy without a care in the world over there just had.
