Chordashian — Questions (JackLNDN & A.W.O.L. Remixes)

Questions Remixes Brooklyn-based duo Chordashian's steady ascent has been enjoyable to watch over the past year. They have an affinity for experimenting with slightly different styles while still keeping their infectious signature sound intact, and this has been no more apparent than with the side-step release of their single Questions a few months back — a vocal-driven slice of melodic indie dance.

Yesterday marked the release of the Questions Remixes EP, featuring worthy renditions by both CS favorite JackLNDN and A.W.O.L., a new project from prolific German artist D.I.M. While LNDN pulls out the originals uplifting vibe, expanding upon it with fluttering summery chords, buoyant pangs and a touch of his classical training coming through in soft piano notes — A.W.O.L. takes an alternative tact, submerging it's sheen in deep house depths, and washing it with an adept array of layers, something we've come to recognize him for. Though fairly contrasting in their approach, we really can't get enough of either. The full package, including the original and an excellent dub mix from A.W.O.L. as well, are available now via iTunes, Spotify, and all major stores.
