It seems as though house producers in Europe keep getting younger and more talented every year. The latest member of the under 20 club, Oliver Heldens was picked up by Spinnin' Records at the age of 17 and 2 years later he is proving to be quite the young prodigy. Although he seemed to prefer more of the electro/progressive style when he was first signed, he has started to play more in the deep house realm with his version of "big room" house that is bass heavy and punchy. Four months ago, his instrumental release of Gecko was an instant hit and has been featured in a wide array of sets throughout 2014. Pairing a vocal to such a powerful track is not an easy challenge, requiring an equally powerful voice. It turns out that Heldens intuition was correct in choosing Becky Hill for the role as she takes a great instrumental and adds a ton of emotion and shape to it. Take a listen below and be on the lookout for both of these youngsters.
