Sydney producer Terace has barely been recognized within the past year, which has only left a big question mark looming over our heads. The Sweat It Out! signee has not only released some seriously stellar original tracks, but also remixed material from Flume & Chet Faker, Rüfüs, and Peking Duk with absolute finesse, revamping them into solid house numbers time and time again. Yesterday he graced us with yet another winner, remixing labelmates Go Freek’s new track We Can Ride (which is described as “gutter tech” on the duo’s soundcloud) into a culmination of acid bass, hi-hats, and wood blocks fresh enough to break the floor at an impromptu hotel party. Resonating piano notes arrive right on time, and the original’s pitched-down vocals are thankfully kept in full, causing Friday to feel several light years further away than it already is. Stream the track below and cross your fingers for more Sweat It Out! releases in the upcoming months, as the Aussie label is becoming one of the most reliable go-to sources for fresh tunes. Happy Monday!
