SAFIA — Paranoia, Ghosts & Other Sounds (Young Franco Remix)

Last month Aussie trio SAFIA released Paranoia, Ghosts & Other Sounds, a slow burning blend of R&B, soul, and electro, and the follow up to their acclaimed debut from last year Listen To Soul, Listen To Blues. Having since enjoyed it's successful reception, which including hitting the top of the Hype Machine charts and continual Triple J airplay, and also announcing a supporting spot on Lorde's forthcoming Australian tour, you could say the group's had a pretty great start to the year. Next come the remixes for the new single, and first up is Brisbane producer Joey Da Rin AKA Young Franco, who's been garnering quite a bit of attention as of late. The 19 year old up-and-comer flips the original's cinematic flavor on it's head, giving it a tropical house wash with crisp steel drums and a driving bassline to create an instant party starter.
