[CS Premiere] Blondfire — Walking With Giants (Templeton Remix)
LA based producer Templeton has been on our radar for some time now, both due to his solo work with remixes for the likes of BANKS, Chela, and most notably in our books Garden by Boys Get Hurt, and through his band VIBES. Today we're happy to be premiering the follow-up to that handful of amazing efforts and his first of 2014, with his excellent take on the much raved about, fellow LA based Blondfire and their track Walking With Giants, off their recent Where The Kids Are EP. Templeton has grasped the originals indie charm and given it a deep soak in a bath of dynamic piano driven house, complete with crisp hand claps and drums, taking the sunshine from the outdoors in and lighting up the dancefloor. His affinity for infusing feel-good, tropical house vibes into anything and everything he touches is on full display here, leaving us with a taste of warm gratification yet yearning for more. Luckily we wont have to wait long, as both artists will be releasing new material soon, with Templeton currently working on his debut EP and Blondfire out with their new album, Young Heart, February 11th.
