AIMES — Harmonique Cosmique EP

In February, our good bud AIMES released his Harmonique Cosmique EP, and since we just happen to be enjoying it's splendor on this fine Saturday afternoon, we thought we'd stop in to say that if you haven't heard it yet, you should definitely have a listen. Bringing in a brilliant concept, the EP plays as a choose your own adventure, rolling out four different versions of the title track — Disco, Late Night, AM, and Beach. This essentially does two things; ensures there's something here for anyone and everyone, and displays the NYC-based AIMES' amazingly versatile and adept production skill. From the Disco versions feel-good italo funk and the Late Night's pumping 80s vibes, to the AM versions free-flowing techno tinge and the Beach's laid back, sunshine waterside feels — there's really no getting around the overall appeal of this release.
