Connecticut producer Shmallen is out with his latest remix today, of Days Are Dreaming, an inventively soulful track off of Goldbloc's debut EP. Bringing a fresh perspective to the scene, the Boston-based duo mixes breezy soul-pop vocals with downtempo beats for an individual sound. Shmallen capitalizes on this uniqueness, and let's singer Solei’s vocals take the lead, placing them over lush swells and a gently entrancing playfulness of piano notes and percussion. The resulting sense of pleasantly drifting upon waves of bliss is sure to leave a lasting impression, and will no doubt be playing a part in this summer's soundtrack.
