At last the remixes for Moullinex’s masterful Hypersex album have landed, and this afternoon we have the pleasure of premiering a fantastic one from fellow Discotexas family members Wild & Free, who’ve put their spin on Say It Slow (one of our personal favourites from the record). Up to their usual business of bringing the funk, the LA–based duo have laced this remix with vibrant grooves and brilliant synth work which uplift Georgia Anne Muldrow’s vocals really nicely. It’s the kind of track that makes you want to kick your scooter into high gear and cruise the city streets amongst the crisp evening air, just taking it all in. So grab your friends and get moving.
The full package is out officially today, and what a lineup it is, with additional remixes coming from Yuksek, Wayward, Mr Mitsuhirato and more. The release is also intended to culminate in a grand finale show in Lisbon on October 31st called ‘House of Hypersex’, “A place to celebrate ‘Hypersex’ and everything the album represents; inclusion, diversity, love and the vibrancy of club culture”.
