The Jam Jar • Curated by Blende

London-based Swedish producer, Blende, recently returned from a bit of a haitus with a stellar new single named Back To Summertime. The track, featuring Mattie Safer formerly of The Rapture on vocals, is an absolute summertime burner that we (unsurprisingly) can't get enough of. On the heels of it's release and a brilliant accompanying remix package, we're lucky enough to have Blende on board this week to deliver a choice selection of funky, disco house cuts for the latest curated Jam Jar. An honor, considering a few years back he quickly became a favorite of ours in the disco realm through a string of top tier originals and remixes.

Check out his picks below, including the above mentioned new single – and get your copy of that here, out now via his longtime home Eskimo Recordings.

Selections •

Blende – Back To Summertime (feat. Mattie Safer)

Latest from me.

Asa Moto – Make Me Prada

Hypnotic sounds from these Belgians.

Kraak & Smaak in great form on this one.

This Soft Machine - It's Operational

One of TSM's finest, also on Eskimo

Darshan Jesrani – Mirror Test

I read the other day that Metro Area have something planned for their 15 year anniversary of their only album up to date. Could it be a second album..? Probably not, but one can dream

Old but gold.

Franc Moody – Laroque

Got this on promo last year and it stuck with me, great track.

Tensnake – 1975

Reminds me of the good old days of deep house, when it was done well. Love this.

Off The Meds - Geraas (Art Alfie Remix)

Friends galore here, feeling this remix from Art Alfie but original is very good, too

Andre Bratten – Trommer & Bass

Smalltown Superstore always puts out great stuff, could have put anything here, really

2CV - Burpee Nation

2CV from Netherlands are great, definitely underrated if you ask me.
