CS Premiere • Sondrio — Night Music EP

It may be thirty degrees outside in NYC, but the sun is shining and we've got the premiere of Sondrio's debut EP to share with you, so no real complaints here. The Sydney–based producer capitalizes on the momentum from a series of high profile remixes, for the likes of RÜFÜS and Baio, with this latest two–track set called Night Music.

We enter on N.E.G.R.O.N.I, a sizzling cut that places us square on the dancefloor and lends a nod towards the producer's Jackin' House days, while also showcasing new progression in the sophistication of his sound. Then to round things out comes The Kiss. Sitting on the more contemporary side of Sondrio's spectrum and grounded by a thumping bassline, the track takes shape through tactful layering and distorted, string–led refrains. All sewn up with an impeccable attention to detail, a signature which we've come to recognize Sondrio for, this release is not one to be ignored.

“Both of these tracks came quickly, the bulk of N.E.G.R.O.N.I was written in about two hours. However it’s taken a year to try new things that’s allowed me to create music up to the standard I expect of myself. I’m extremely proud of both tracks and they have been killing it in my DJ sets.” – Sondrio
