CS Premiere: Rey & Kjavik — Akya
We've got a great new track to premiere for you today, coming from Frankfurt producer Rey & Kjavik, in the form of his debut on Belgium's outstanding Eskimo Recordings. Inspired by a recent transformative experience through his first set at Burning Man, the track, called Akya, encompasses worldly influences spanning San Francisco to Istanbul. Cosmic house grooves send us on a ride through blooming synth beats, chanting vocals and an indelible bassline — creating one finely crafted number.
The track is out now via Eskimo Recordings' The Red Collection, the sixth installment of their ongoing compilation series based around colors, which brings together the best of the label’s recent releases and unreleased gems from friends and family.
