CS Premiere • Saro — Test (Busy Busy Remix)

Already championed by the likes of Stereogum and Pigeons & Planes, Test, the brand new single from rising LA–based artist Saro, gets an official remix courtesy of another fresh face and fellow Los Angeles resident, Busy Busy. The result is an imaginative blend of astute pop and experimental electronic that's got all the fixings for greatness. The original, co-produced/written by Robin Hannibal (Rhye, Jessie Ware, Jamie Woon), gets a hastened pace and it's sleek layering flipped inside out, with looped and distorted falsetto vocals taking the lead over a dissonant soundscape of clamorous synths and sharp percussive beats. Impressive work from the pair of burgeoning talents to say the least.
