CS Premiere | Mint Royale — Time feat. Tom Cane (Sonny Wharton Remix)

At the start of this month Mint Royale announced the project would be coming to a close through one last single, Time, featuring Tom Cane on vocals. Though surely a disappointment to longstanding fans, the track, with it's vibrant melodies and apt lyrics, is a brilliant ending to an acclaimed catalogue. Alongside the single itself came a pair of remixes, the first from Anglo–French duo Loframes that we featured a couple of weeks back, and a second, final one from British DJ and producer Sonny Wharton, which we have the pleasure of premiering for you today.

Quickly becoming a mainstay in the UK house and techno scene over the past few years, Sonny Wharton delivers big here with a smashing rework of the original, trading poignant pop for piano–driven house. An indelible groove fills the track with an engaging energy, that's further complimented by Cane's sumptuous vocal work.
