Tenniscoats — Baibaba Bimba (Marcioz Remix)

We were recently turned on to the unique sounds of Brazilian producer Marcioz through this new remix he did for Tenniscoats' Baibaba Bimba, and now we kinda can't get enough. A quick skip through the 19–year–old's Soundcloud will show you he puts up no walls when it comes to experimentation, and while some of his earlier work is a bit heavy for our palette, we're really digging the recent direction he's taken. This rework of the Japanese band's 2007 single is a wonderful mix of downtempo, washed out chords and innovative layering shuffled within worldly touches. It's slightly discordant, a bit untidy and yet somehow works amazingly well. Check it out for yourself below.
