This week we're mixing things up a bit, and starting a new monthly spin on the Jam Jar that we're pretty excited about. We've been doing this series for awhile now to support some of the most talented up-and-coming artists out there today, and it's easily one of our favorite things to do each week. So now, for the first Wednesday of every month, we've decided to tap a regularly featured Jam Jar artist and have them curate the collection themselves for the week.
To kick it off today, our Chicago-based buds Autograf have taken over, putting together an amazing list of tunes for us and sharing a quick thought on each. As they put it, "We included a bunch of homies in our Jam Jar because they're all making awesome music right now. Super proud of them all". When I first saw this I thought Zhu had already crushed it with a West Coast remix, but Kungs did a great job making such a different take on the song, and it's now replaced Zhu's version in our sets.
