THE JAM JAR | 062

THE-JAM-JAR-62 Did we mention it's been unbelievable weather out here in SF over the past few weeks? Right, well, the Jam Jar has happened to align perfectly as our soundtrack for it, and we've got some stellar additions coming your way this time around.

A perfect start to these summertime jams, Yahtzel transforms High from fellow Aussie's Peking Duk into a buoyant tropical soundscape. You don't want to miss this.

Next up, MK's in the mix whipping up another unstoppable rework, this time of Monarchy's new jam Living Without You.

We never fail to be impressed by Louis La Roche. The UK talent takes us for a ride on his upbeat remix for Max Frost's White Lies, sure to get things moving.

Canadian duo Natural Animal caught our ear last year with their remix of Bear Mountain. And this new feel-good take on Montreal's Kandle is definitely worth a repeat play.

When do we not love a track with Star Slinger's touch added to the mix? Answer: never. You know what do to.

Yes, we did already post Goldroom's fantastic take on this tune last week, but trust us when we say what Darius has done here, makes it worth the double dip. This one's just straight up aural sunshine.

Penguin Prison has been making a resurgence in 2014. And now that he's put out this unmissable remix for one of our favorite breakouts BROODS, we're definitely on board.

After topping the Hype Machine charts with their rework of Sam Smith's essential Stay With Me last month, Toronto's Rainer + Grimm show no signs of slowing down with this house-inspired version of ZHU's Faded.

Next we've got newcomer's Mountain Of Youth, who impressed us last week with their Pacific Air remix. This time they've struck gold yet again with a steady flowing 100bpm rework of L A Y L A's Smokestacks. Jam on.

And rounding out the playlist for the week, Norway's Matoma taps an eternally special vocal with Biggie's Want That Old Thing Back, putting us all in. Be sure you'll hear this one everywhere over the coming months.
