Alex Metric — OWSLA After Dark Mix & UK 2 LA Tour

Alex Metric had an enormous 2013, teaming up with Jacques Lu Cont to produce one our our favorite tracks of the year Safe With You, reworking the likes of Foals, Empire of the Sun, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and signing a new deal with OWSLA/Atlantic. All things considered, it's easy to say he's without question someone to watch this year. Always known for delivering diverse, genre-crossing productions appealing to a wide selection of dance music fans, his latest mix, out now via OWSLA After Dark which premieres every other week on Mistajam's BBC 1Xtra show, encapsulates exactly that. With tunes ranging from Classixx take on Panama and Marcus Marr's version of his own Safe With You, to Boston Bun's tech house burner Hot, it's safe to state this is one hour well spent.

In addition, Metric also happens to be in the midst of his UK 2 LA tour alongside HARD events mastermind Destructo, having just finished up their first dates aboard the infamous HOLY SHIP!!!. But don't worry, they've got plenty of stops left, including a show at SF's Ruby Skye on the 31st of this month, which we'll surely be attending. Check the dates below.
