It’s Friday night, which means it’s about time to get the sneaks laced up, the beers poured, and the jams flowing. Plastic Plates has just released a blissful bouncing version of fellow countrymen Van She’s track, Jamaica, that’s perfect for the job. True to his form, it’s a steady flow of tasty nu disco loops and glittering beats. Seriously, this is so full of tropical vibes and aural sunshine it’s hard to handle. Listen to those drums! Not once has Plastic Plates put out a track anything short of amazing. Another one for the jam jar. Don’t know what you all are up to tonight, but we’ll be dancing. Now go get your weekend on.

We’ve posted briefly about Sydney born, LA based Felix Bloxsom aka PLASTiC PLATES before, when we gave you his awesome remix of The Wombats, Our Perfect Disease, as a bonus track. Now he’s back with a shiny brand new original, More Than Love, and this one is seriously funktastic. He’s really proven his abilities in the past year or so with a bundle of perfectly produced remixes, and let us just say, this new stuff most definitely reinforces that quality. Throw this on and it’s an instant dance party, guaranteed. Enjoy getting down everybody!
