Full of immense build-ups, extraordinary vocals, and mind-numbing energy, these are truly the cream of the crop. Happy New Year everybody, and thanks for a great year!
Best of Caveman Sound 2012 – Progressive House

This past year we’ve seen some of the most innovative electronic music released to date. It’s been a year of epic shows, wild parties, and genre-bending sounds and now it’s time to celebrate. So with the year (almost) done, we present to you a four part series of the absolute best, free, and ground-breaking tracks from Caveman Sound over the last twelve months.
Starting off with a group of massive proportions, here are our top progressive house picks in no particular order. These are twenty-five tracks of the highest quality, that we feel deserve the spotlight.
Sebatian Ingrosso & Tommy Trash vs. Morgan Page – Reload The Bodywork (Stereotronique Mashup)

At this point anytime a new Stereotronique release comes around we tend to set our expectations rather high, and honestly the Canadian duo have yet to disappoint. Their latest effort comes in the form of a serious gem of a mashup, combining Sebastian Ingrosso & Tommy Trash’s recent anthem Reload with Morgan Page’s irresistible track Bodywork. Tegan & Sara’s iconically entrancing vocals prove to integrate perfectly with the electrifying progressive nature of Reload – forming one truly massive tune. In fact, Morgan Page himself referred to it as “amazing” while supporting it on one of his latest In The Air podcast episodes. Huge!
David Guetta feat. Tara McDonald – Delirious (Cherry Coke Remix)

Polish big-room house wizard Cherry Coke, who is already responsible for one of our most favorite bootleg edits of Morgan Page’s classic tune Fight For You, has just delivered yet another noteworthy remix to add to the collection. This time around, the 21-year-old producer has put his uplifting progressive touches on one of David Guetta’s 2008 singles from his widely popular Pop Life studio album – successfully giving Delirious a more current-sounding facelift complete with plenty of massive synths and hands-in-the-air piano chords. It is definitely a well-executed tribute to what some may consider to be the ‘good old days’ of Guetta material. Enjoy!

Morgan Page vs. Hard Rock Sofa – The Longest Stay Away (Morgan Page Bootleg Mix)

It was certainly not long ago when Morgan Page had generously treated us all to a pair of quality festival-approved mashups via his soundcloud page and he is now already back with another free highly infectious mix. The Grammy-nominated progressive house mastermind has elegantly integrated one of his most widely recognized originals, The Longest Road, together with a much more current release from the fast-rising Russian duo Hard Rock Sofa. The final result is nothing short of spectacular with beautiful vocals and clean melodic leads of the most uplifting variety. Enjoy!

Top 5 Most Popular Downloads – June 2012

Hope everybody is having a fantastic start to the new month. As a little (but always quality) treat, here are the top 5 most downloaded tracks on the site from June 2012. Pure certified fire for your listening pleasure!
Morgan Page vs. Tom Fall – Rock Fight (Morgan Page Festival Mashup)

It is not often that Morgan Page blesses his soundcloud page with free individual tracks, so when he does, it is usually best practice to pretty much drop everything and immediately seize control of those goods. The Grammy-nominated producer has recently done just that by sharing a couple of his top-notch mashups that have been making their rounds on the current festival circuit. Our favorite one comes in the form of a massive integration of Morgan Page’s own classic Fight For You with Tom Fall’s iROK. It is an absolutely banging crowd-pleaser that seriously gets better every time you play it. Enjoy!
Bonus: Morgan Page vs. Nari & Milani – The Longest Atom (Morgan Page Festival Mashup). Pretty sure this one doesn’t even require any further explanation – just hit play!

Morgan Page – Body Work ft. Tegan & Sara (Hollidayrain Remix)

Nobody can resist the combination of Tegan & Sara’s iconically entrancing vocals with the smooth melodies of Morgan Page. It’s like magnets to metal, the attraction is irresistible. Well now Colorado’s Hollidayrain has grabbed hold of their track Body Work, and made it massive on a whole different level. He’s replaced some of the more progressive elements with heavy slap-you-in-the-face electro. This one will surely get any situation bumping in an instant, but watch out for flailing limbs when that drop hits, things will definitely get a little wild (hint: this is a good thing). Grab the download below and have a rager of a Saturday everybody!

And since it’s Saturday and we’re feeling generous, here’s another Hollidayrain tune for the playlists. Huge bashup of his and Popeska’s remix of Laura Brehm’s The Sunrise.

Meiko – Leave The Lights On (Morgan Page Remix)
Morgan Page – Fight For You (Cherry Coke Bootleg Edit)

Cherry Coke is a 21 year old up-and-coming producer from the eastern parts of Poland, whom we have previously featured for his absolutely outstanding remix of Sunloverz’ Fire. His signature uplifting big room house sound is pretty much irresistible and especially shines in this bootleg edit of a Morgan Page classic. It features huge synths, euphoric riffs, and a driving hands-in-the-air chord progression that simply cannot be ignored. Absolute must-have progressive bomb that you will quickly catch yourself playing on repeat over and over again. FIRE!
BONUS: Jessie J – Domino (Cherry Coke Bootleg). Yep, Cherry Coke straight killed it once again. Top notch.
Meiko – Leave The Lights On (Morgan Page Remix)

Morgan Page consistently produces some of the most top notch tracks out there. This new remix of Meiko’s Leave The Lights On is a prime example of his skills. It’s a perfect mix of house, progressive, and some fat electro making for one unbelievable tune. Meiko’s ethereal vocals definitely help out as well. We’re still baffled as to why Morgan Page is stuck in the amateur hour afternoon slot at Coachella this Sunday, considering his talents are far beyond that, but we know he’s going to absolutely tear it up regardless.
Morgan Page – Fight For You (Odmark & HOHME Bootleg Remix)

Fantastic progressive bootleg from US-based producers Odmark & HOHME. They were able to create an impressive all-original remix while maintaining all the essential vibes from this Morgan Page classic. The emotional vocals sit perfectly on top of the uplifting synth-filled house beat to form an epic-sounding track. Overall, it is a very clean and truly enjoyable production. Make sure to check it out!
Bonus: Calvin Harris – Flashback (Odmark & HOHME Bootleg Remix)
Morgan Page – In The Air (Mord Fustang Remix)

Estonian producer Mord Fustang has made quite a name for himself this year. His remix of Morgan Page’s emotional track In The Air is another banger to add to the already extremely impressive collection. Mord Fustang has been able to properly retain the soft Angela McCluskey vocals while adding his signature bounce to the track. Please enjoy only at high volumes!
