Our love for Swedish indie dance group Urban Cone continues to grow with this brilliant new remix from Emil Héro. Emil Gustafsson is one member of Urban Cone as well as having just started a side project under the new moniker, and is sure to be producing a number of more electro-centric gems than that of his main band. His first official release of fellow Swedes Colleagues strangely nostalgic track Parent’s House is a killer dance cut, and a great display of what’s to come.

We’ve got an absolutely huge tune coming at you today in celebration of the weekend finally having arrived (after a full days work that is). Orlando’s big-room electro aficionado Henry Fong is back with an enormous remix of Bingo Players Out Of My Mind. The track in it’s original form is a banger, but when you add Henry’s tantalizing build-up, mind numbing drop, and own personal flavor; it’s brought to a whole new level. We’d expect nothing less from him. Be sure to pick it up at his Facebook page, and last but not least, happy Friday everybody!

As we often like to do on Mondays, we’re going to start the week off with some fresh and tasty nu-disco vibes. This week, a young producer from Colombia brings us an ingeniously sampled French house style track that fills the need just right. We don’t know a whole lot about Nicolas Saavedra aka Icarus!, but what we do know is we are seriously digging his sound and can’t wait to hear more. Shake Hands With Summer is his latest release and it’s vibe is essentially summed up within its title. Coupled with a vocal sample that lends it an awesome retro vibe, the bouncy beat is infectious beyond belief. Whether summer has just left or is soon arriving, this one’s sure to warm you up.
Grab another of his original tracks Woot as well. There’s a nice nu-disco/electro blend going on here.
It seems like we’ve been blessed with great collaborations between some of our favorite artists lately. And this new one from The Knocks and TheFatRat is at the top of that list. Between the nothing-but-fun party vibe of The Knocks and incredibly contagious sound of TheFatRat, we couldn’t have cooked up a better match. Not to mention anything either touches is just pure awesomeness. The Feeling is a straight up summertime jam all on it’s own, but with the addition of the signature crunch of TheFatRat’s electro/nu-disco fusion it really takes flight. Hit the play button and bask in that feeling we all know and love, the weekend!
A perfect example of The Knocks awesomeness – a mash of Kool & The Gangs Celebration with their own The Feeling. Money.

A little over a year ago a producer by the name of Bubblegum Sci Fi caught our attention while crushing it on a number of remixes for the likes of Chromeo, Passion Pit, Adrian Lux, and more. Having quickly become one of our favorite new producers to watch, we were saddened to see him all but disappear from the scene. But alas, he is back! And with an unstoppable new bass heavy sound. Heartbeats For LA is an expansive and powerful vocal driven track that shows us a different exploration of sound than what we’ve previously heard from him. Unsurprisingly, it’s just as impressive as we would expect. Grab the download below!
Bonus Round – Check out this badass remix he did for Passion Pit’s The Reeling a while back. It’s what hooked us.

The Monday after a long weekend of Labor Day festivities just got a whole lot better. Not only do we get a brand new, undoubtedly awesome Lenno tune, but it happens to be a remix of Atlas Genius. Two artists on one track, both of whom we can never seem to get enough of, talk about a win! Lenno works his usual enchanting magic with a sparkling disco infused beat that instantly alters your head bobbing indie-pop stroll into a full on one-man dance party down the sidewalk. Listen to that piano! With its irresistibly infectious vibe, there couldn’t be a more perfect tune to kick off a short work week and let your mind begin to dream of the coming weekend activities.
Anyone miss this incredible Fred Falke remix of Trojans as well? Get it now! Sacrebleu!

Raleigh’s Tmare is at it again with another banging original. He’s been crushing it for awhile now and after previously featuring his track Los Angeles in our ‘Summer Picks Part 2′ post earlier this month, we’ve been anticipating what he’d come up with next. It was a pleasant surprise to get another equally impressive production sent over in such short fashion. Year One is a beastly electro house fusion, incorporating playful twists in with heavy, grinding beats. The overall effect is enjoyable to the extreme, and the perfect fire to get any party moving.
Bonus! Check his remix of Foxes Let Go For Tonight. Incredible vocals with dirty drops? Yes, please.

A few weeks ago TheFatRat released an awesome remix of Static Revenger’s Turn The World On, which features an insatiable beat and entrancing robotic vocals. And as great as Dev’s vocals are, to us the more of TheFatRat’s driving, crunchy, irresistible genre-defying beats the better. So lucky for us he’s now stripped those to a minimum and put out a dub version of the track. Having premiered on thissongissick a couple of days back, the dub mix is just what we like to hear from the German outbreak. Bare-bottomed and bouncy as ever, this is TheFatRat we know know and love. Funkify yourself at those Labor Day parties this weekend.

Lonsdale Boys Club are one of those names that has danced around the edge of our minds for a little while, but are just now coming into full view. And we’re sure glad they did. These guys have got some serious funk and swagger. Their most recent tune to date is a brilliant house remix of Twin Shadow that though is a bit more subdued than some of their other productions, is still a straight up jam. They’ve taken the original out for a round on the dance floor with glittering beats and hand claps aplenty. Look no further for something to get those feet moving and parties popping.
We’ve been anxiously awating the arrival of VISITOR’s new EP since Lucas and Kyle sent a preview our way last month. We’ll start by saying it’s fulfilled our wildest dreams and then some, reminding us why they’ve been one of our favorites since the release of Los Feeling a couple of years back. Now with the remixes trickling in, we’re getting to hear some of our other top producers interpret the tracks for themselves. After the obvious success of the Lifelike remix released last week, they’ve graciously gifted us with the COMING HOME remix from SF’s own Viceroy – for free! It’s nothing short of spectacular, fully justifying its VISITOR given classification as ‘pure sex’. Hot damn.
Bonus! Here’s Lifelike’s undeniably killer remix of the COMING HOME as well.

Everybody loves a solid Dragonette remix, with lead singer Martina Sorbara’s voice being undeniably infectious. On this new one of Live In This City, Barcelona’s Heren has somehow inflated their fun-filled, indie dance vibe to a whole new level. He’s added a bouncy electro beat that compliments the pop flavor almost unbearably well. We only just happened across him the other day via Dragonette’s Facebook page, but we’ll surely be keeping our ears open for more in the future. No better option than this to start your week with! Montréal’s Adventure Club are one of those acts that consistently get it right. They blasted onto the scene just over a year ago and haven’t slowed down or fallen short since. We caught them at The Fox Theatre in Oakland this February when they opened for Porter Robinson, and the energy was completely infectious. They do a phenomenal job of not only bringing that to their live show, but to their studio productions as well. Their newest remix of Alexisonfire’s To A Friend is as anthemic as it gets, with enormous swooping bass and transcendent vocals. Get on board for the journey.
OVERWERK is back! This has probably been one of our most anticipated releases of the year so far, and it comes through in full. Signal is the name of his brand new original production and the first single off his upcoming EP After Hours. With his powerful electro house crunch that’s barely contained but so incredibly well polished, it’s no wonder this track is nothing short of excellent. There’s no question that he’s got one of the most individual sounds around right now. OVERWERK is going nowhere but up, and fast. Believe the hype!

Hot Chip are easily one of the most stylistically innovative bands to ever come around, and their new track Night And Day is no exception. So when someone pulls off a remix of them that actually works, we’re always impressed. And this remix from Paris’ Dead Rock Machine really works. This gem arrived along with a modest note in our inbox a few days back, and we had no idea what a punch it was going to pack upon first listen. It’s brimming with French electro attitude, a touch of disco, and a pop topping that sets the whole things off just so. Look out, Dead Rock Machine have got a style to be reckoned with.
Here’s their tune Alone In The Taxi (Summer In The Studio Mix) as well, for a taste of their killer indie dance original production.
Make sure to keep an eye on these guys –
There has been a huge influx of new, young electro/dubstep/progressive house producers recently, which has certainly made it a challenge to set yourself apart from the masses. But Philly’s own Dylan Orvell aka Speaker of the House is great example of someone who is successfully doing just that. Having jumped into the production pool just about a year ago, he’s crafted himself a distinctive sound equal parts blissful melodies and crunchy bass. His latest track Your Galaxy is a prime example of this, combining splashes of Deadmau5, Wolfgang Gartner, and Porter Robinson with GoldAN’s killer vocals to make one excellent mix.
Grab his track Supernatural as well. You can’t go wrong with this irresistible bouncing beat.
A chill day calls for some music of the same kind, and Paris’s Jolie Cherie have just the thing. We’ve been avid fans of the trio since their lively releases on Kistuné Maison compilations the past couple of years. This latest remix of their fellow Parisians La//KVLKD’s track Zephyr is dreamy beyond belief with just a touch of their signature electro pop sound. It’s a drifting, magical ride perfect for mellow Sundaze and supreme relaxation. Pick up the download below!
Bonus! Bonus! Bonus! Jolie Cherie’s phenomenal remix (cover) of Kavinsky’s Nightcall. Amazing.
Australia’s electro champ Wax Motif has been crushing it as of late. With a bunch of huge releases over the past month, the most recent having been released on the illustrious Fool’s Gold Records Clubmix Vol. 2, his momentum is only picking up pace. Ctrl-66 is a proper banger of a track with a twist, sounding like a mad fusion of electro, big room, and nu disco components. Incorporating his inventive style with elements that are widely appealing make any Wax Motif tune an instant success. Get familiar with Waxy and grab the download below.

This new mix of Coldplay’s Charlie Brown from Jacques Lu Cont premiered a couple of weeks back on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show, and we’ve been waiting on the edge of our seats for it’s release ever since. Lucky for us, this one’s in line with his recent trend of giving away tracks for free. A looped vocal chant and downpour of tribal drums lead you in with a bang. That is until they drop back to make room for an irresistible buildup with mind numbing vibrations. Jacques Lu Cont’s shifting styles are seamlessly weaved together by Chris Martin’s bellowing lines. If you’ve heard the original, you’ll know how much he made this one his own. Production perfection.

Rising talent Aylen smacked us with a pretty killer new EP yesterday. On Fire is aptly titled, considering on fire is exactly what he’s been lately. Having just finished up a big release on Kitsuné with a remix of The Knocks & Fred Falke’s Geronimo (grab it here), and consistently pumping out impressively produced tracks, it seems he can’t be stopped. This latest tune is an electro moombahton fusion with enormous energy, and enough flavor to satisfy even the biggest cravings. Also featured on the EP are a few remixes with all sorts of different takes on the original from Xristo, Cy Kosis, and Elonious.
Our choice remix off the EP is Xristo’s cut. He and Aylen have collaborated before with huge success, and this time is no different.

Do you like to dance? Of course you do! Well we’ve got an absolutely crushing tune for you that’s platinum certified to turn any situation into a dance party riot. London’s Autokratz recently put out an amazing remix of the Manchester dwelling band Swiss Lips new track Danz, and it’s smoking hot. They’ve infused a bouncy disco beat into the original, smoothing out the gritty glam and upping the synth factor. Yet another one for the jam jar. And if you need some tips on dance moves to get down to this one, check out the official video for the original track.
Rogue is a young sharp shooter out of the UK who’s already equipped with some massively catchy and original productions to flash around town. His motto when it comes to his experimentation with new sounds is “no rules people!”, and we can dig that. Too often these days people get caught up in doing what others think is good, when what really matters is doing what you think is good, and the rest will follow. Life lesson aside, Rogue has been killing it lately with some super fresh dubstep infused electro. His latest tune Movement is the most captivating bass heavy piano jam you’ll ever encounter. Pay attention if you aren’t already, big things coming for this guy.
Have a listen to his amazing track Air (Summer Chords) as well, bass laced bliss for the ear drums.

Jacques Lu Cont’s fully charged, one man mission is hard to ignore. The super-producer has once again dropped an absolute bomb on us at random that is surging with an intense and energetic fusion of electro, techno, and his signature synth elements.
