Best of Caveman Sound 2012 – Progressive House

This past year we’ve seen some of the most innovative electronic music released to date. It’s been a year of epic shows, wild parties, and genre-bending sounds and now it’s time to celebrate. So with the year (almost) done, we present to you a four part series of the absolute best, free, and ground-breaking tracks from Caveman Sound over the last twelve months.
Starting off with a group of massive proportions, here are our top progressive house picks in no particular order. These are twenty-five tracks of the highest quality, that we feel deserve the spotlight.
David Guetta feat. Tara McDonald – Delirious (Cherry Coke Remix)

Polish big-room house wizard Cherry Coke, who is already responsible for one of our most favorite bootleg edits of Morgan Page’s classic tune Fight For You, has just delivered yet another noteworthy remix to add to the collection. This time around, the 21-year-old producer has put his uplifting progressive touches on one of David Guetta’s 2008 singles from his widely popular Pop Life studio album – successfully giving Delirious a more current-sounding facelift complete with plenty of massive synths and hands-in-the-air piano chords. It is definitely a well-executed tribute to what some may consider to be the ‘good old days’ of Guetta material. Enjoy!

Morgan Page – Body Work ft. Tegan & Sara (Hollidayrain Remix)

Nobody can resist the combination of Tegan & Sara’s iconically entrancing vocals with the smooth melodies of Morgan Page. It’s like magnets to metal, the attraction is irresistible. Well now Colorado’s Hollidayrain has grabbed hold of their track Body Work, and made it massive on a whole different level. He’s replaced some of the more progressive elements with heavy slap-you-in-the-face electro. This one will surely get any situation bumping in an instant, but watch out for flailing limbs when that drop hits, things will definitely get a little wild (hint: this is a good thing). Grab the download below and have a rager of a Saturday everybody!

And since it’s Saturday and we’re feeling generous, here’s another Hollidayrain tune for the playlists. Huge bashup of his and Popeska’s remix of Laura Brehm’s The Sunrise.

Morgan Page – Fight For You (Cherry Coke Bootleg Edit)

Cherry Coke is a 21 year old up-and-coming producer from the eastern parts of Poland, whom we have previously featured for his absolutely outstanding remix of Sunloverz’ Fire. His signature uplifting big room house sound is pretty much irresistible and especially shines in this bootleg edit of a Morgan Page classic. It features huge synths, euphoric riffs, and a driving hands-in-the-air chord progression that simply cannot be ignored. Absolute must-have progressive bomb that you will quickly catch yourself playing on repeat over and over again. FIRE!
BONUS: Jessie J – Domino (Cherry Coke Bootleg). Yep, Cherry Coke straight killed it once again. Top notch.
Sunloverz ft. Rosette – Fire (Cherry Coke Remix)

Wow, this track is absolutely massive and is also very appropriately titled as it happens to be pure fire. Poland-based producer Cherry Coke has given the Sunloverz’ original an impressive remix treatment to turn it into a truly anthemic late-night bomb. Mesmerizing Rosette vocals sit perfectly on top of the monstrous synth-filled progression. Both powerful and uplifting, this is the kind of track that makes you want to continue partying until sunrise. Highly addictive!
