LA’s The Dirty Tees have been on a roll as of late with a couple of successful label releases. Now they’ve decided to treat us by giving out their latest remix for free, and we couldn’t be more stoked. Johnny Stimson’s Human Man is an amazing electro-pop tune in it’s original form, so naturally when laced with The Dirty Tees massive and impressively well-polished progressive/electro house sound, it’s been taken to an entirely new level. They’ve executed this one to perfection, pairing the vocals with epic builds and drops effortlessly and transforming it into a full-on anthem. Don’t think twice about picking up this huge tune below!

Before you get too deep into your weekend, make sure you pick up this fresh remix from New Jersey’s Gazzo, whom we’ve previously featured for his impressive takes on the likes of JJAMZ and Y LUV, and also appeared in our Progressive House Top Picks of 2012 for his remix of the latter. Since, he’s continued to do some outstanding work, most recently releasing an amazing remix of Breathe, the familiar track from French trio Télépopmusik back in 2002. Gazzo’s spin provides a modern soundscape that fuses his smooth progressive style with deeper house elements, taking a current approach on the classic. The relaxed nature of the original has been lessened but only slightly, and the subtleties of the production are still there, with entrancing vocals and a powerful melody that will hook you from the first play. Best of all it’s a free download.
Bonus! Grab his remix of Gentlemen Hall’s Sail Into The Sun while you’re at it.
Our main man Panic City has been on a serious hot streak lately, so much so that we can barely keep up with the fire he’s putting out. His latest conquest is a seriously massive remix of the Skrillex & Ellie Goulding track Summit, done in collaboration with LA’s Mistermike. They’ve taken the relatively subdued original and pumped it up with that big room electro/progressive flavor that we’ve come to know and love from Panic City, and left no room for standing still. It’s Saturday of the long weekend, it’s time to party, and this is what you should be listening to.
Earlier this week Belanger released a new track called Take Me Home that we just can’t get off repeat. We’ve had an eye on the New York-based producer for awhile now, having been impressed by his polished blend of styles, and this new single displays that in full. Take Me Home successfully combines house, nu-disco, and electro vibes making for something truly unique and prepped for summertime. We’re treated to a tantalizing build-up, brilliant Fleetwood Mac sample, tropical drums, and a thumping backbeat that ties it all together quite nicely. Start your Friday off right with this huge new track, and be sure to keep an eye out for more from Belanger in the future! Grab the free download via Dropify, here.
Bonus! Pick up his amazing 90′s house inspired tune Down Like while you’re at it, sampling Madonna’s Rain.
There are plenty of reasons not to like Mondays, but when it’s a Monday that NYC duo The Chainsmokers decides to release a new track, well, that’s certainly one reason to love it. The guys sent their brand new official remix for the beautiful gypsetting sister duo Say Lou Lou over this morning, describing it as what they feel to be their best song yet, and we have to say we absolutely agree. As big fans of Say Lou Lou’s original work, we have high expectations for any remixes that come out, and this version of their already amazing single Julian is a prime example of one done right, and exactly why we love what The Chainsmokers do so much. Their blending of pop, indie, and progressive sounds on this is flawless, and it evokes that joyous feeling of a warm night out in the summer to perfection. It just came out as part of the Julian Remix EP, and is available as a free download over on The Chainsmokers Facebook page, so go pick it up!

Archie is one of the most consistently reliable progressive/electro house producers around. Every time he puts out a new track we pretty much know we’re going to love it before even hitting play, and we always do. That formula certainly proved to be the case with Rosa, a huge new tune he released a couple of weeks back featuring vocals from Silva Hound. A tantalizing build-up kicks into chopped up and distorted vocals that smoothly progress into a blast off of massive proportions. This is textbook Archie, and exactly why he made it into our Top Progressive House Picks of 2012 list with Villo. Grab the free download over on his Facebook page and get your Friday going right!
A huge upcoming talent and friend of Caveman Sound, Moiez, just released a brand new remix of Armin van Buuren’s phenomenal track This Is What It Feels Like, and we’re absolutely loving it. The melodic build paired with incredible vocals from Trevor Guthrie draw you in from the start, and in comparison to the original we’re treated to a much more vibrant and powerful take on the track with immense drops which Moiez controls to perfection. Having recently sat down with him for an interview (read it here), and talked extensively about his process, we know the great attention to detail that goes into every one of his productions and you can clearly hear that here. Catch Moiez live in Seattle June 1st supporting Project 46, and at Spring Awakening Music Festival in Chicago. We see big things coming for him so make sure you get your hands on this anthem immediately!

Mashups can be tricky to pull off, and it’s pretty rare to find one that’s truly successful, but one producer that gets us every time is Brooklyn’s HÔHME. Without fail, every single one of his mashups is incredibly on point and unbelievably well executed. His most recent creation mixes together Audien’s killer new track Wayfarer, with Sultan, Ned Shepard, and Taryn Manning’s Send Me Your Love. The transitions are impossibly smooth, track choice is perfection, and overall production as crisp as we could wish for. Grab the free download below and kick off the week on an epic note! And if you’ve yet to check out his mixes, we highly suggest you do, listen to his latest one here.
Dutch super-duo Vicetone, whom we recently featured as part of our exclusive guest mix series, are at it once again. They have just released their brand new single Stars and it is exactly the type of top-notch effort that we’ve now simply come to expect from the guys. It immediately draws you in with passionate vocals from Jonny Rose as part of the compelling build-up that quickly explodes into Vicetone’s signature roller-coaster drop. Simply put – it is yet another energetic and uplifting progressive anthem from the duo that is bound to get stuck inside your head. Enjoy!

We’ve always admired the consistency with which LA duo The Dirty Tees can put out huge, quality productions. Their original track Maestro still remains one of our favorites, and even made it on to our Top Electro House Picks of 2012 list. Most recently they completed a remix of the Imagine Dragons track Radioactive, out on KIDinaKORNER/Interscope Records, and immediately following the initial listen we were hooked. With commanding vocals leading, an enormous melodic build-up, and a hefty dose of electro grind, this one comes out to be an absolutely massive tune. Though their releases have been few and far between, treating us only every couple months or so, we know the guys are hard at work and can’t wait to hear what they’ve got in store next.

The Chainsmokers just won’t give us a break, and honestly we’re totally okay with that. Every few weeks we get an email from Alex and Drew with a new production that always seems to top the last, which is saying something. Their latest remix of Medicine from London’s Daughter is simply phenomenal, with a sound versatile enough for the festival stage or poolside hangout. The song builds gradually, emphasizing Elena Tonra’s ethereal vocals and giving you time to let the beauty of the track really sink in. Anticipation builds as layers stack upon each other, and finally a wave of uplifting vibes crashes down driving the whole thing home. Truly ace work from the New York duo on this one, though we’d expect nothing less. Don’t think twice about picking it up below!

Philadelphia’s MitiS is one of those producers that we’re continually impressed with. He’s been on fire lately, stacking quality tracks on top of one other with each new release. In the past couple of months he’s put out a handful of productions that mix ambient, drum & bass, progressive, and dubstep vibes – all of which are equally amazing. Visible is one that really caught our ears, with it’s unbelievably pleasing melodies and gliding ambient sounds that carry you through the track with ease. The brother duo have now surpassed 15K fans on their facebook page and decided to properly celebrate by releasing a free download of their brand new remix. We previously featured NYC’s VZLKS for his killer track Consider Getting Lost and a remix of one of our favorite indie outfits Urban Cone. Since then he’s put out a couple of new tunes well worthy of note, the most recent being a really solid progressive house remix of MNDR’s Feed Me Diamonds. He’s done some ace work on this one, matching the energetic build-up with the vocals to perfection and catapulting the original to anthemic proportions. It’s looking like The Chainsmokers are never going to quit. Their hustle is relentless, already following up an untouchable remix for TDCC, with a brand new one of one of our favorite new bands, Little Daylight. Drew and Alex have taken hold of their single Overdose, and as per usual done some masterful work on the mix, highlighting the vocals and letting the track build from the beginning over a relaxed progressive beat. Though it’s only a matter of time until they kick things up a notch with a massive dose of energy, and a blended beat that sends us off on a high note. These guys just don’t miss a single beat. Logan and Alex, aka Mako, are an up-and-coming duo out of Los Angeles that are set to make some huge waves this year. We’ve had our eyes on the guys ever since we did a feature on them last summer, and we’re excited to finally see some of their hard work coming to fruition. Beam is one of the first tracks that they passed along to us almost a year ago now, and it was great back then, but let us just say now that they’ve circled back around and given it the 2013 treatment, it’s on a whole new level. They’ve rewashed the tune with an enormous progressive house sound, and equipped it with seriously incredible vocals from the very talented Angel Taylor, making it a pretty unstoppable combination. This is just a small taste of what we’re going to be seeing from Mako this year, as they’ve been busy working with some of the biggest names in the industry, so be sure to keep a lookout for more from them soon!
Bonus! We brought you the incredible track Presence from Paris Blohm and Angel Taylor a couple weeks back (which Mako worked on as well), don’t pass up grabbing this second release from the three of them.
